Wine Tasting Events

When: Dec. 10, 1 p.m., 4 p.m.
Why Go: From 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. staff will be offering samples of California favorites like 2009 Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon, 2009 Caymus Special Select, 2010 Conundrum California White and 2009 Belle Glos "Meiomi" Pinot Noir. From 4 p.m.-7 p.m. there will be a presentation of what's new for the season called "Tis the Season: Wines that inspire you to celebrate life with family and friends." The retailer was just named "Wine Retailer of the Year" by Wine Enthusiast magazine.

Shenole Latimer Performance

Where:
When: Dec. 11, 2 p.m.
Why Go:
Shenole Latimer and his band will play a combination of constructed original compositions and selected covers from other modern jazz artists.  This performance "will weave a sonic tapestry that truly engulfs the senses." Seating is first come, first served. It's part of the Town of Oyster Bay Distinguished Artist Series

Magical Night of Fondue

Family Sundays at the Nassau County Museum of Art

Dec. 11, 1 p.m.
Why Go:
Spend Sunday visiting the exhibits with your family. There is a walk-through of the exhibition at 1 p.m. and beginning at 1:30pm there are supervised art activities for the whole family. There are special family guides of the main exhibition available in the galleries free with museum admission.
