Great Wall Kitchen Of Farmingdale Reopens Following 2nd Car Crash
The Chinese restaurant had been forced to close for the second time in just over a year because of a car crash. It reopened Friday.

FARMINGDALE, NY — Great Wall Kitchen, a Chinese restaurant in Farmigndale, has reopened again after it had been badly damaged for the second time in a second car crash, Kevin Chen, son of the owners of the eatery, announced on Facebook.
A woman crashed into two cars and the Chinese restaurant in Farmingdale after losing control of her vehicle on Feb. 3, Nassau police said.
"After months of repairs, we’re thrilled to announce that Great Wall Kitchen is officially OPEN once again!" Chen wrote on Friday.

On Jan. 26, 2024, Great Wall Kitchen was devastated in a car crash involving a drunken driver, Nassau police said.
A woman was driving a 2011 Mercedes Benz north on North Broadway when she left the road and collided with a parked 2018 Toyota, police said regarding the 2024 crash. The unoccupied Toyota went through the storefront, and the Mercedes Benz followed, police said. The woman was charged with DWI and third-degree assault, police said.

Great Wall Kitchen reopened a few months later in May 2024.

Great Wall Kitchen is located at 47-4 Boundary Ave., Farmingdale.
