Man Threatens Officers After Breaking Into Farmingdale Home's Garage: Police
The man broke the end of a glass bottle and verbally threatened officers, police say.

FARMINGDALE, NY — A man was arrested after he broke into a Farmingdale home's garage and threatened officers while holding a broken glass bottle on Tuesday, Nassau police said.
Officers were called to a Conklin Street home for a disturbance around 9 a.m., police said. Michael Harrison, 44, of Farmingdale, damaged property and unlawfully entered a garage at the home, police said.
When officers attempted to speak with Harrison, he broke the end of a glass bottle and verbally threatened them, police said. He was placed under arrest without incident, police said.

Harrison was charged with third-degree burglary; menacing a police officer; second-degree criminal mischief; and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, police said.
He is scheduled to be arraigned on Wednesday at First District Court, at 99 Main St., Hempstead.
