Woman Broke Into Cars At Long Island Cemeteries: Police
The 30-year-old broke into cars belonging to people who were visiting gravesites, police say.

FARMINGDALE, NY – A 30-year-old woman is accused of stealing items from numerous cars parked at Long Island cemeteries.
Tiffany Radford, of Farmingdale, is charged with four counts of petty larceny, according to Suffolk Police.
First Precinct Crime Section officers investigated numerous thefts that occurred at cemeteries in Farmingdale between April and July. Police say officers determined that Radford targeted unlocked vehicles as their occupants were at a gravesite.

Radford was arrested at the First Precinct in Farmingdale Monday afternoon. She was charged with four counts of petty larceny for thefts from cars parked at Saint Charles Cemetery, located at 2015 Wellwood Ave. in Farmingdale, on April 21, June 17, June 30 and July 15, police said.
Radford is also suspected of being involved in other larcenies that occurred at Saint Charles Cemetery and at Pinelawn Memorial Park, located at 2030 Wellwood Ave. in Farmingdale.

Anyone who believes they may be a victim of this crime is asked to call First Precinct Crime Section officers at 631-854-8132, police said.
Police reminded residents to always lock their vehicles and keep valuables out of sight.
