  1. Defendants accused of stabbing Oceanside High School senior Khaseen Morris in 2019 were each sentenced to a year in jail. Marquis Stephens Jr., 20; Sean Merritt, 20; and Javonte Neals, 21; all pleaded guilty in January to a felony charge of second-degree gang assault and a misdemeanor assault charge.   2. Brandeis School sixth graders hosted their annual model Seder, and 20 holocaust survivors visited the Lawrence school this week. Roland Merton gave a presentation and recalled his family's experience during World War II. (Patch)
  3. Grammy-winning singer-songwriter John Legend is coming to UBS Arena for a benefit concert on May 29. The show is part of Northwell Health's "Side By Side" and Jason Derulo will open the benefit concert. (Patch)
