  1. New York Islanders Hall of Famer Mike Bossy died at age 65 this week of lung cancer. Bossy played with the Isles from 1977 to 1987 and was a key member of all four Islanders Stanley Cup teams and is the team's all-time goals leader. (News 12)
  2. More than 50 volunteers filled over 375 food orders for Passover meals at Stella K. Abraham High School for Girls campus in Hewlett Bay Park last Sunday. The food will go to people in need across western Long Island and Brooklyn. (LI Herald)
  3. Commercial real estate giant Regency Centers Corp. will purchase four Long Island shopping centers including a 99,000-square-foot center in Valley Stream. The shopping center is anchored by a King Kullen. (Long Island Press)
