'King Of Waltz' Andre Rieu To Perform At UBS Arena
The classical artist, who has earned 500 Platinum Awards, will play UBS Arena on Sept. 17.

ELMONT, NY — One of the most successful classical artists makes his way to New York as part of a handful of concerts next year.
André Rieu will perform for the first time at UBS Arena on Sun., Sept. 17, for his only area appearance.
Known worldwide as the "King of the Waltz," Rieu has sold 40 million CDs and DVDs. He also has notched 30 number-1 songs.

"Every night my orchestra and I see people dancing and singing in the aisles, enthusiastic and carefree," Rieu said. "Together we spend evenings that we do not forget. When people write to tell me that they need two-weeks to come down after my concerts, it makes me the happiest man in the world!”
Along with his 60-piece Johann Strauss Orchestra, Rieu has created a global revival in waltz music.
