1. A large fire spread through townhomes and damaged three to four units Wednesday night in Syosset. Fire departments answered a call after 10 p.m. Wednesday at the Hidden Ridge Condominiums. (News 12)
2. Former Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano was sentenced to 12 years in prison on public corruption charges. His wife, Linda, was sentenced to 15 months in jail. (Patch)
3. Mount Sinai South Nassau is proposing a $35 million investment in Wantagh. The plan calls for a vacant Verizon building on Wantagh Avenue to become a one-stop-shopping medical office complex with the latest in cancer care, cardiology, diabetes, radiology, women's care and endocrinology. (Patch)
