Man Hurts Hand at North Lawrence Laundry
Worker, 30, got injured while trying to fix steam and iron machine, treated for burns.

A 30-year-old male working at A+ Laundry located at 224 Lawrence Avenue in North Lawrence injured his left hand when he was trying to fix a factory steam and iron machine Nov. 21 at 11:25 a.m., and was taken to a local hospital and treated for severe burns. His hand got jammed in the rollers of the machine, Fourth Precinct detectives reported.
Coworkers using a crowbar were able to pry the victim’s hand out of the machinery and separated the rollers. Fourth Precinct police responded and transported the victim to the hospital.
