School's Model Seder Features Holocaust Survivors
Sixth graders at the Brandeis School held a Passover preview on Tuesday.
LAWRENCE, NY — As Jews around the world celebrate Passover this weekend, one Five Towns school gathered on Tuesday to preview the holiday.
Brandeis School sixth-graders hosted their annual model Seder. Early childhood, lower school and middle school students were also part of the activities.
As a bittersweet part of the Seder, the school opened its doors to 20 holocaust survivors, and featured a presentation from Roland Merton, who recalled his family's experience during World War II.
