1. A Bay Shore man, Quay-Sean Renard Hines, was arrested Friday for fatally shooting a Northwell Health employee. Police say he stalked her for months before ultimately firing 10 shots at her Amelia Laguerre on March 31. (News 12)
2. Police say that two people in Westbury were arrested Friday after narcotics were found at 9 Clover Lane. The home where William Jackson, 40, and Karona Lambert, 36, had cocaine and other paraphernalia. (News 12)
3. The first comprehensive women’s health center on the Rockaway Peninsula opened last week at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital in Far Rockaway. The new Margaret O. Carpenter Women’s Health Center at 105-38 Rockaway Beach Blvd. in Rockaway Park is designed to improve access to women’s health services. (LI Herald)
