UBS Arena Celebrates 1st Anniversary With More Than 1.4 Million Guests

ELMONT, NY — UBS Arena marks its one-year anniversary and the venue is looking at some of the top statistics.

Since opening on Nov. 20, 2021, more than 1.4 million guests have been in attendance. They watched more than 100 different events.

Customers consumed 130,000 chicken fingers and washed them down with 494,000 cans of beer and 254,000 bottles of water.

More than 10,000 concert t-shirts were purchased.

Artists such as Harry Styles, Sebastian Maniscalco and Billie Eilish have graced the stage.

For the Islanders, it takes 9.7 miles of cooling pipe to keep the ice frozen.

Using sustainable action, the arena recycled 121 tons, while 3,300 pounds of event food was donated.
