The Bald Eagle Flew Over The Centerport Nest

Many locals love taking photos of Centerport's most famous residents, the family of bald eagles.

Even more love looking at them in all their majestic beauty.

This picture, courtesy of Kathy Silver, was taken a few months ago near Mill Pond in Centerport. "I managed to get this shot as he was flying from the nest," Silver told Patch.
