Calling Local Artists to Enter Huntington Arts Council Self-Portrait Show

Deadline to submit work is March 13.

The Huntington Arts Council is calling on local artists to submit their works to “I See Me!,” a juried art show of self-portraits.

The show is open to all artists. Submissions may include, but are not limited to, acrylic, oil, watercolor, pastel, drawings, mixed media, sculpture, collage and photography.

Local artist Lynn Rozzi is the juror for this year’s show. Rozzi is the director of the Firehouse Plaza Art Gallery at Nassau Community College. She teaches and lectures on contemporary art and the transformative power of art, and is also an artist who exhibits her work.

This year’s submissions must be received at Huntington Arts Council, 213 Main Street in Huntington, by March 13.

A reception will be held Friday, April 10, 6-9 p.m. The show runs from April 10-27.
