Car Smashes Into Huntington Station Home; Driver Seriously Injured: Police
Police say the 22-year-old lost control of her vehicle Sunday night.
A woman was seriously injured after she crashed her car into a Huntington Station home Sunday night, according to Suffolk County police.
Allison Schneider, 22, was driving on West 19th Street when she lost control of the vehicle and hit a house around 10:15 p.m., police said.
Schneider, of Huntington Station, was taken to Good Samaritan University Hospital in West Islip for treatment of serious but non-life-threatening injuries, police said. Her Hyundai was impounded for a safety check.

A fire marshal responded to the scene and determined the house did not sustain structural damage, according to police.
