Chairperson Of Cold Spring Hills Civic Association Is Community Leader

HUNTINGTON, NY — Without community leaders, Huntington wouldn’t hum along nearly as smoothly as it does. We’d miss their contributions in big and small ways.

How do you know this community leader?

Gayle is the chairperson of the Cold Spring Hills Civic Association Executive Board.

What does this community leader do?

Gayle is the head of the Executive Board which promotes active participation in the civic and social interests in the Cold Spring Hills neighborhood. The Board in which she chairs fosters neighborly cooperation to influence the welfare and property interests and property rights of the residents of Cold Spring Hills. She is a strong proponent of protecting the community's history, design, and character while promoting a strong sense of community spirit.

Why do you believe the community leader should be recognized or honored?

She has volunteered her time for many years looking out for the members of her community, by engaging with businesses, home owners and town officials to solve problems, foster cooperation and community relationships and protect the charm and character of the Cold Spring Hills community.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the community hero?

She spends countless hours a month volunteering her time to help others. She is constantly fielding questions and solving issues that are brought to her attention at all hours of the day and night from our community members. She always strives to treat everyone fairly and has been the driving force behind keeping her community beautiful and engaged.
