Chick-Fil-A Is Coming To Huntington Station In 2022

The Huntington Town Board has granted provisional approval, allowing the chicken chain to plan a 2022 opening on Jericho Turnpike.

HUNTINGTON STATION, NY — Chick-Fil-A fans rejoice: The proposed Huntington Station location of the popular chicken fast food chain is a go. The Huntington Planning Department gave conditional approval of the planned site, at 124 E. Jericho Turnpike earlier this month.

According to a Newsday article, a town spokesperson said the drive-thru restrictions were modified, and that after building permits, work can begin on the franchise.

Chick-Fil-A told Newsday the Huntington Station restaurant will open at some point in 2022, and that the chain is also looking to expand into new Long Island areas. Proposed spots are in Levittown, West Babylon and Riverhead.

Long Island's existing seven Chick-Fil-A locations are still seeing long lines. Port Jefferson Station was the Atlanta-based chain's entree onto the island, in 2015.
