Cops: Man Blackmailed, 3 Assault Homeowner In Burglary
Here are recent incidents reported in the Huntington area, according to Suffolk County Police.

Thursday, Nov. 29
At 5:41 a.m., police reported a burglary in which three people entered a home and struck a residents with their fists on W 12th Street in Huntington Station. The resident fled and scene and was uninjured. No items were stolen from the home.

At 6:30 p.m., police reported a grand larceny on Fairview Street in Huntington. Police say a man sent photos to an unknown person via text. The person then threatened to post the photos on social media if a payment wasn’t made. The man sent the money to the individual, police say.

At 5 p.m., police reported a grand larceny in which a camera and jewelry were stolen out of an unlocked 2006 Saturn on Maple Road in Huntington Station.
