Police are searching for two people who they say broke into a Huntington deli and made off with a safe.

HUNTINGTON, NY — Police are searching for two people who they said broke into a Huntington deli.

The duo pried open a back door of Gold Coast Good 2 Go Delicatessen during the early morning hours of Aug. 9, police said Thursday. The deli is on Woodbury Road, near Carley Avenue.

The pair made off with a safe and about $700.

Police detectives and Suffolk County Crime Stoppers are asking for the public’s help to identify the two people.
