Finley's Of Greene Street In Huntington Closes After 33 Years

HUNTINGTON, NY — Finley's of Greene Street in Huntington closed on Saturday after more than three decades in business.
The restaurant cited the rising costs of food and labor, a shift in dining and nightlife habits and challenges posed by the coronavirus pandemic as the reasons for its closure, Going Local reported.
The eatery was owned by John and Sandra Finley and their son, Shannon, according to Huntington Now.

In summer 2024, the family brought in chef Lewis Vargas to head up 43 Green, a restaurant extension of Finley's of Greene Street. Vargas's resume includes cooking at Robert de Niro’s Tribeca Grill, James Beard House and Gary Danko’s Michelin Star restaurant in San Francisco.
