A GoFundMe has been created to help assist Caleigh during her battle. Almost $5,000 has been raised in 21 days as of Friday, Oct. 5.

Caleigh Masterson is a kind, funny, and hard working 5th grade student at Thomas J Lahey who loves her family, her friends, and her dog. She started swimming for the YMCA swim team last year but was diagnosed with Lymphoma in December of 2018. She has been bravely fighting this awful disease through many rounds of chemotherapy and blood transfusions, and has spent a lot of the past year at Cohen’s Children’s Hospital. She is once again back and is in intensive care. She has a portal vein thrombosis, and bleeding in her brain and abdomen. She also has kidney failure and is hooked up to many machines and getting dialysis. This all happened very fast and is an unfortunate side affect of her chemo med PEG.
