Huntington Football Opens Season Wednesday

Football is back!

The Huntington Blue Devils open the season Wednesday with a 4 p.m. road test against neighboring rival Harborfields.

The Blue Devils are the No. 2 seed in Suffolk Division III after a semifinal run a year ago while Harborfields is No. 8. 

Huntington Coach Steve Muller has an experienced quarterback in Ben Kocis, but the Blue Devils won titles in the past is with a relentless running attack. Could Levar Butts be the answer there?

Kocis was remarkable in a playoff thriller against Kings Park.
