The nightly festivities will include lights, music, and surprises. The transformation of Wall Street will last until early January.

HUNTINGTON, NY — The Huntington Holiday Spectacular is set to return to the town's Wall Street on Saturday.
The interactive display is set to run until Jan. 10. Huntington Hospital Northwell Health is sponsoring the event.
"This year’s tree and celebration are in honor of the countless frontline workers that have fought to keep our community safe and make a gathering like this possible!" the Huntington Holiday Spectacular website reads.

The nightly festivities will include lights, music, and surprises. Guests can visit Wall Street every day until Jan. 10 to view the Winter Wonderland. Local businesses will participate with special deals to promote the holiday season with the goal of bringing residents from across Long Island to Huntington.

The event was founded in 2020 after people had endured months of the coronavirus pandemic, as well as division, according to the Huntington Holiday Spectacular organizers.

"Despite this, our community members came together to find something to unite for, the Holidays!" the organizers wrote. "The holiday season is filled with a special type of magic that is felt by people of all ages, religions, and beliefs. This 80-foot tree was placed in the center of our town as a symbol of hope and harmony during these trying times. Let it serve as a reminder of the strength of the human spirit and the power of a community united."
In 2020, the Huntington Business Improvement District asked Brooklyn-based artist Cassandra Jones if she could help create a pandemic-friendly but inspiring holiday display. Jones embraced the challenge and helped design the Huntington Holiday Spectacular.
Jones has continued to serve as the lead artist for the Huntington Holiday Spectacular.
"I am very grateful for the opportunity to do what I love, for such an amazing event," Jones told Patch. "It's the biggest canvas I've ever painted in my three decades of being an artist. This is my third consecutive year. Everyone involved really puts in their all and it shows at the end."
Jones also owns a new business in East Meadow, a tattoo suite called Boss Lady Ink. Jones, who is still battling chronic illnesses, said she is doing really well, and wanted to express gratitude for her doctors and advocates.
