Huntington Man Faces Animal Cruelty Charges; SPCA Removes 6 Dogs
Authorities say he failed to provide proper sustenance two his two emaciated pit bulls.

A Huntington man faces animal cruelty charges after Suffolk SPCA says two of his dogs were found to be emaciated.
According to the SPCA, William Woods Jr., 55, was arrested on Friday and charged with two counts of animal neglect for failing to provide proper sustenance to his two pit bulls, a 2-year-old female and a 2-year-old male.
The dogs have since been brought to the Huntington Town Animal Shelter. Four 3-month-old pit pulls were also found in his possession, authorities say. The puppies were also removed from his property, the SPCA says.

Woods is scheduled to appear in First District Court on Dec. 12.
