Huntington Police Blotter: 3 Pairs Of Sunglasses Stolen From Saks Fifth Avenue

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

  • July 9: Clarence Cooper, 59, of East Norwich, stole three pairs of sunglasses from Saks Fifth Avenue in Walt Whitman Mall around 3:05 p.m. July 9, police said. He was arrested and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny: value of property more than $1,000, police said.

Incidents

  • July 7: Assault (third-degree) was reported on Crombie Street in Huntington Station at 9:30 p.m. A man punched another man in the face, while inside a home, because he wouldn't allow him to use his phone, police said. The man was taken to Huntington Hospital, police said.
