Huntington Police Blotter: Gold Rings Stolen From Jeweler
ALSO: A man stole more than $6,000 worth of glasses from a shop, police say.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

- July 27: Daniel Sherlock, 29, of Huntington, stole $3,490 worth of glasses from a store at 160 Walt Whitman Road, within the Walt Whitman Shops mall, on July 11, police said. Sherlock stole approximately $2,994 worth of sunglasses from the same address on July 25, police said. He gave police officers the wrong name, police said. He was arrested and charged with third-degree grand larceny: value of property more than $3,000, fourth-degree grand larceny: value of property more than $1,000 and false personation, police said.
- July 23: Christopher Kology, 42, of Huntington Station, stole gold rings from Priceless, a jewelry store at 1899 New York Ave., Huntington Station, on July 23, police said. He was arrested and charged with third-degree grand larceny: value of property more than $3,000 and petty larceny, police said.
Incident
- July 21: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on Walt Whitman Road in South Huntington at 1:30 p.m. Someone stole property from LensCrafters, police said.
