Huntington Woman Charged With Drug, Weapon Possession In NJ: PD
The woman and a man were both charged after drugs, weapons and stolen credit cards were found in their motel room, police say.

WALL, NJ — Two Long Island residents are facing drug and weapons charges after cops found a handgun, hollowpoint bullets, crack cocaine and marijuana in their New Jersey motel room last week, NJ police said.
Anthony Miccio, 30, of Islip, and Ashley Schroko, 23, of Huntington, were arrested Thursday, Dec. 6, after their vehicle was pulled over on New Bedford Road at about 5 p.m. by Patrolmen Tim Margadonna and Patrolman Shane Roland.
Miccio was also charged with making terroristic threats against a law enforcement officer, Wall Capt. Greg Carpino said Monday.

During the traffic stop, police found marijuana, cocaine and drug paraphernalia in the car, police said.
After the two were arrested, a motel room at the Atlantic Inn & Suites on 1916 Route 35 was searched as well, Carpino said, turning up the firearm and the crack cocaine.

According to police, Miccio and Schroko were also charged with:
- possession of marijuana under 50 grams
- possession of cocaine
- possession of drug paraphernalia
- possession of handgun
- possession of a handgun while distributing a controlled dangerous substance
- possession of crack cocaine
- possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine
- possession with intent to distribute marijuana
- possession of a defaced firearm
- certain person not to possess a firearm
- possession of hollow point ammunition
- possession of stolen credit cards
As of Monday afternoon, both remained in the Monmouth County jail, according to the county corrections website.
