Man Killed In Huntington Crash: Police

HUNTINGTON, NY — Suffolk County police are investigating a crash that killed an 85-year-old man Saturday morning in Huntington.

According to police, Richard Lucian, of Cold Spring Harbor, was attempting to cross Main Street around 7:40 a.m. when he was struck by a Ford coming around a bend in the road.

Lucian was taken to Huntington Hospital by ambulance, where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the Ford, Leonard Bilski, 60, of Saint James, was not injured.

Police said the vehicle was impounded for a safety check. Anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact the Second Squad at 631-854-8252.
