Man Suffers Serious Head Injury In Huntington Station

Two people were hospitalized in the two-car crash on Friday night, police say.

A man suffered a serious head injury in a two-vehicle crash in Huntington Station on Friday night, police say.

According to authorities, a 60-year-old man was driving a 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser southbound on Depot Road when he was struck by a 2017 Jeep Wrangler traveling northbound at 7:15 p.m.

The man was taken to Huntington Hospital to be treated for a serious head injury. The driver of the Jeep, 54-year-old Huntington resident Meryl Kessler, was taken to Huntington Hospital to be treated for minor injuries

The man's name is being withheld at this time. Both vehicles were impounded for safety checks.
