HUNTINGTON, NY — A carnival and Memorial Day parades are set for the Huntington area this weekend.
33rd Huntington YMCA Memorial Weekend Carnival
The 33rd Huntington YMCA Memorial Weekend Carnival is scheduled for Friday through Monday.
The carnival aims to provide fun for guests of all ages.

Spend time on the Midway, organized by Newton Shows. Enjoy carnival food, games, and laughter.
Children's magic illusion shows will be hosted Saturday and Sunday throughout the afternoon.

Hours are:
- Friday: 6 to 10:30 p.m.
- Saturday: 1 to 10:30 p.m.
- Sunday: 1 to 10:30 p.m.
- Monday: 1 to 6 p.m.
The carnival will be held at 60 Main St., Huntington.
Parades
Huntington
The American Legion Huntington Post 360 Memorial Day Parade is scheduled for noon to 12:45 p.m. Monday. The parade is set to kick off in the Gerard Street parking lot (by the Post Office), head to West Neck Road and then Main Street (Route 25A) to end on Stewart Avenue.
Greenlawn
The annual Greenlawn Fire Department Memorial Day Parade is scheduled to step off at 9 a.m. Monday. The parade will step off from East Maple Road down Broadway-Greenlawn ending at Greenlawn Memorial Park at the corner of Broadway and Pulaski Road.
Elwood/Commack
The Elwood/Commack VFW Post 9263 Memorial Day Parade is scheduled for 10 to 11:30 a.m. Monday.
The parade will kick off in the Home Depot Parking Lot, at 5025 Jericho Turnpike, Commack. The parade will head east on Jericho Turnpike and cross Townline Road to Commander Fred Amore Canon Park.
Centerport
The Centerport Fire Department Memorial Day Parade is scheduled for 10 a.m. to noon Monday. The parade is set to step off on the corner of Centershore Road and Mill Dam Road, Centerport. It will head onto Prospect road and turn right on Little Neck Road to the Memorial at the end.
East Northport
The Knights of Columbus, East Northport Memorial Day Parade is set for noon to 1 p.m. Monday.
The parade will proceed from Clay Pitts to Larkfield to John Walsh Memorial Park.
