Stern Re-Elected To 10th Assembly District

Residents headed to the polls on Tuesday.

Voters re-elected incumbent Steve Stern in the New York State 10th assembly district election on Tuesday.

Democrat Stern defeated Republican Jeremy Williams in the state assembly election, according to unofficial results.

With 100 percent of precincts reporting, Stern had 26,687 votes compared to 18,176 votes for Williams.

The 10th Assembly District consists of parts of the Town of Huntington, including Laurel Hollow, Huntington, South Huntington, Huntington Station, Melville and Dix Hills.
