NYPD Escorts Slain Officer's Sons To First Day Of School

The department continues to support the Long Island man's family after his tragic death in 2016.

The young sons of Sgt. Paul Tuozzolo continue to be supported by the New York Police Department and all local responders after their father was tragically killed in the line of duty in 2016.

Continuing with the promise to always support the Greenlawn man's family, Austin and Joseph, age 6, were escorted to the bus stop on their day of school on Wednesday by members of the NYPD's 43rd Precinct in the Bronx.

This is the second year the NYPD was there for the Tuozzolo sons' first day of school. The NYPD escorted Austin to his first day of school last year.
