Obituary: ​Ryan Spencer Mullen, 15, St. Anthony's HS Student

"Ryan lived life so large and his time here was short. God had other plans for Ryan."

Ryan Spencer Mullen, of Cold Spring Harbor, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 23 at age 15. He was a St. Anthony's High School student who was on track to graduate in 2020.

The loving son of Janice and Matthew Mullen and brother of Nicole Mullen and fur brothers Stanley and Tobias.

Ryan was deeply loved by his family -William and Marilyn Persan, Francis and Dorothy Mullen, Aunt Lori, Michael, Samantha, Aunt Christine, Uncle Rob, Joseph, Claire, Marie, Aunt Trish, Uncle Mike, Aunt Claudia, Uncle Tim, Aunt Kim and Uncle Tony.

Ryan was a fierce friend who had the "perfect friend group " but was friends with everyone. He loved to laugh, enjoy life, or spend the day on the boat with his friends. Ryan lived life so large and his time here was short. God had other plans for Ryan.

Visitation will be held Friday from 2 to 9 p.m. at M. A. Connell Funeral Home Inc., located at 934 New York Ave.

Funeral service will take place Saturday at 9:15 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, located at 400 Main St. in Huntington.
