Pedestrian Fatally Struck In Huntington Station
The Huntington Station man was pronounced dead at the scene on Monday morning.

A man was fatally struck by a vehicle while crossing a street in Huntington Station on Monday morning, police say.
According to authorities, 69-year-old Huntington Station resident Juan Rosa Aparicio was crossing Depot Road, near East 11th Street, when he was struck by a 2008 Honda traveling southbound at 5:35 a.m.
Aparicio was pronounced dead at the scene by a member of the Huntington Community First Aid Squad.

The driver of the Honda, 44-year-old Huntington Station resident Rigoberto Flores, was not injured.
The vehicle was impounded for a safety check. Anyone with information on this crash is asked to call the Second Squad at 631-854-8252 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
