Pedestrian Seriously Injured In Huntington Station Crash
The incident occurred on Wednesday morning, police say.

A pedestrian was struck and seriously injured by a pickup truck in Huntington Station on Wednesday morning, police say.
According to authorities, a 27-year-old man was crossing New York Avenue, about 30 feet south of Pulaski Road, when he and another man were struck by a 2005 Chevrolet pickup truck at 6:30 a.m. The 27-year-old man was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital. The other man, 40-year-old Huntington Station resident Jose Martinez, was not injured.
The driver of the Chevrolet, 31-year-old Huntington Station resident Patrick Anderson, was not injured.

The Chevrolet was impounded for a safety check. Detectives are asking anyone with information on this crash to call the Second Squad at 631-854-8252.
