Police Seek Thief On Motorized Shopping Cart

The man is wanted for stealing from a Huntington Station store.

Police are looking to identify the man on a motorized shopping cart who stole merchandise from a Huntington Station store in September.

According to authorities, the man walked into Kmart, located at 839 New York Ave., with a cane, got into a motorized shopping cart and stole various items on Wednesday, Sept. 26 at 3:25 p.m.

He fled the scene in a 2003 red Jeep Liberty, with a New York license plate No. GTU 4729.

The man is wanted for petty larceny.
