Suffolk Police National Night Out Coming To Huntington Station

SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY — Suffolk County officials and law enforcement are set to join community members around the county for National Night Out events on Tuesday, Aug. 5.

The Suffolk County Police Department's Second Precinct night out is scheduled for 4 to 7 p.m. at Manor Field Park, at 110 E. 5th St., Huntington Station.

Suffolk County Executive Ed Romaine, Suffolk County Police Commissioner Kevin Catalina, Suffolk County Police Deputy Commissioner Belinda Groneman and members of the Suffolk County Police Department are set to participate in the events.

National Night Out is a campaign designed to enhance the relationship between residents and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community, according to the organizers.

"The evening provides an opportunity to bring police and community members together under positive circumstances," according to the news release. "National Night Out draws millions of people from thousands of communities across North America."
