Swallow To Close In Huntington; The Paramount To Take Over Spot
After nine years, the restaurant in Huntington Village is shutting its doors.

Swallow Restaurant in Huntington, known for its small dishes designed for sharing, announced it will close in March or April.
Swallow said on Facebook that it will continue to focus on its Montauk location and the Paramount, the entertainment venue next door, will take over the location.
"After nine great years in Huntington, Swallow Restaurant would like to say thank you to all our amazing customers, our friends, loyal, hard-working staff and loving family who have been along for this magical ride," the restaurant announced on Facebook. "We have decided to focus our attention on Swallow East, our Montauk location. We are happy to announce that we are passing the torch to our friends and neighbors at the Paramount and can't wait to see what their take on the restaurant scene in Huntington Brings. Thank you all so much, see you in Montauk at Swallow East."

Swallow opened in 2010 and more than doubled its size in 2014. In 2013, Swallow opened its Montauk location.
