Town of Huntington To Host 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony

The Town of Huntington will host a remembrance ceremony on Sunday, Sept. 9 in honor of the seventeenth anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001.

There will be memorials around the tri-state area to remember the fallen. In the Town of Huntington, there will be a small ceremony at noon at the 9-11 Memorial in Heckscher Park, located at 147 Main St.

The community will remember the 2,997 people whose lives were lost on Sept. 11, 2001, including 43 residents from Huntington.
