The grants were presented at the second annual Harvest Night on Oct. 3.

The Townwide Fund of Huntington gave more than $115,000 in grants to local charities at their second annual Harvest Night on Oct. 3.

Representatives from 35 area nonprofits and Townwide Fund board members were in attendance.

“It was an inspirational night, as members of the Townwide Fund Board met and mingled with representatives from the area charities who do so much to enhance the quality of life in Huntington,” Executive Director Gloria Palacios said in a press release. “Our commitment to making sure that money raised in the community benefits our community makes for a different conversation between givers and receivers. We know where our donations are going, and how they are changing lives, and that is a powerful incentive for our donors and our sponsors.”
