Long Island's Week Of Weather Ahead Could Bring Round Of Snow
See when the snow could first fall on Long Island.

LONG ISLAND, NY — Long Island could be set for its first round of snow by the end of the week.
According to Joe Pollina, meteorologist with the National Weather Service office in Upton, while a few flakes have fallen across Long Island in November, there has been no significant snowfall this season with any accumulation.
That could change by the weekend, Pollina said, with snow in the forecast for Friday to Saturday. The precipitation could begin with a mix of snow and rain Friday, turning into all snow Friday night into Saturday morning.

But with five days until the weekend, that forecast could shift, he said. "It's still pretty far out," he said. "It's too early to tell."
Here's a look at the week's weather forecast for Long Island, according to the NWS:
