Police Release New Details On East Northport, Commack Vandals

Police say the driver of the getaway vehicle, which was described as a white Ford Expedition with a moon roof, was a woman.

UPDATED Monday, Jan. 22 at 1:40 p.m.:

Police have released additional details regarding the vandals who damaged multiple houses and cars in the East Northport and Commack area at some point between the night of Saturday, Jan. 13 and morning of Sunday, Jan. 14, police say.

The vandals committed more than 30 acts of criminal mischief. Police say the driver of the getaway vehicle, which was described as a white Ford Expedition with a moon roof, was a woman.

Authorities have also increased the $2,500 reward to a $5,000 fast cash reward for information that leads to an arrest. The cash will be rewarded within 72 hours of the arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
