LI Man Pleads Guilty To Sexually Abusing 8 Children At Wife's Day Care
DA: Angel Tacuri pleaded guilty to multiple counts of sexually abusing eight children at wife's unlicensed day care center in Patchogue.
PATCHOGUE, NY — On Friday, Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond A. Tierney announced that a man pleaded guilty to multiple counts of sexually abusing eight children between 2010 and 2015 at his wife's unlicensed day care center.
Angel Tacuri, 53, admitted to sexually abusing three to 10-year-years-olds at his wife's day care business in Patchogue.
“This defendant exploited these innocent child victims for his own depraved gratification through
the access available to him at his wife’s unlicensed day care center,” Tierney said in a statement.

“No guilty plea will ever ameliorate the trauma inflicted on these victims, but at the very least, this plea holds him responsible for his actions and prevents him from causing more harm to others.”
Tacuri was originally indicted in June 2021 and charged with sexually abusing six children. Since then two more victims were located.
