Laughing Bike Thieves Brutalize Teen In Crown Heights, Cops Say

CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — A group of bicycle thieves were caught on video laughing as they brutally attacked a teen and stole his stuff, according to police.

Police are looking for four young men who surrounded an 18-year-old cyclist on Utica Avenue and Carroll Street about 7:45 p.m. Oct. 26 and began throwing punches.

Video shows one of the thieves smiling before throwing a hook at the teen, who was hospitalized at Kings County after the attack, police said.

His four attackers slapped, punched and kicked him in the face and chest before stealing $200 in cash and his bike, police said.
