Police departments across Westchester swelled Friday as 38 new graduates of the county's police academy received diplomas and entered the force.
County Executive Robert Astorino, District Attorney Janet DiFiore and a series of local police leaders congratulated the newly-minted lawmen, lauding their courage and exhorting a career of duty and justice.
