Three Vie For Two Seats On Blind Brook School Board

Incumbent Blind Brook school board president Jeffrey Diamond is running against Jen Schlactus and former president Steven M. Kaplan

RYE BROOK, NY - Blind Brook School Board incumbent Jeffrey Diamond is facing off against two challengers in a race for two seats. The challengers are Jen Schlactus and Steven M. Kaplan, according to the district clerk's office. Fellow incumbent Wendy Adler is not running again.

Diamond also serves as the board's president.

The top two vote getters will be declared the winners. The seats, which are each for three-year terms, will run from July 1 to June 30, 2020.

Voting will take place on Tuesday, May 16 from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. The polling place will be in the old gym at Bruno M. Ponterio Ridge Street School, which is located at 390 N. Ridge St. in Rye Brook.
