3 Arrested After Massage Parlor Raid On Long Island: Police

Three people from Flushing were arrested after police raided two massage parlors on Long Island, Suffolk County police say.

SELDEN, NY — Three people were arrested after a massage parlor on Long Island on Thursday, according to Suffolk County police.

Police said the raid occurred in Selden at LD Foot Spa and Fang Foot Spa, both on Middle Country Road, in response to numerous community complaints.

Police said they arrested Xiaoyong Chen, 45, and Li Zheng, 43, both of Flushing and employees of Fang Foot Spa; and Jia Rongcai, 46, of Flushing, an employee of LD Foot Spa.

All three were charged with unauthorized practice of a profession, issued desk appearance tickets and are slated to appear at First District Court in Central Islip at a later date.

Sixth Precinct Crime Section officers, in conjunction with the Town of Brookhaven Fire Marshal, Building Inspector, and Town Investigators, conducted the investigation, police said.
