2. News 12 shows the release of Suffolk police officer Tim Thrane from the hospital Friday. Officer Thrane, 35, was struck by a drunk driver on Nov. 2 and placed in a medically induced coma. (News 12)
3. A Smithtown attorney was sentenced to 57 months in prison for stealing $2 million in a wrongful death inheritance from a 4-year-old girl. Vincent J. Trimarco, Jr. pleaded guilty to stealing the money from Rebecca Schaefer. (Smithtown Matters)
4. Police are searching for the person who shot and killed a man in Coram behind a shopping center on Middle Country Road Thursday. The victim is Branzel Bonner Jr. from Shirley. (News 12)
