Why President Trump Cannot Lose, Despite Everybody Trying

Accused of colluding with the Russians, sexual misconduct, not paying taxes, and tweeting like an angry old man; any politically figure would have been a distant memory by now. Why not our President? What makes the leader of the free world like Teflon?

He is identifiable. No matter what people think of him right now, many remember Donald Trump from the 80s, 90s and early 2000s. A man who helped turn New York City around; who was a household name that created a vast fortune. People want to be Trump - it’s as simple as that. Ask anybody if they would rather stay middle class, or not have to worry about finances the rest of their life; I’m sure they will pick the latter. Like it or not, President Trump is the definition of the American Dream. Pick up his book “The Art of the Deal” for a peek inside his mind.

Trump is a man that speaks his mind. He tells it like it is. He is a New Yorker on the world stage. Many people look at him and think the same thoughts. Some of this writer's closest friends were his earliest supporters (I was not). When asked why they support him, the quickest answer often given was “He tells it like it is.” He speaks at a level that everybody can understand, and that is often mistaken for stupidity. Compared to the Social Justice Warrior, whose words are crafted and refined to avoid conflict and offense, Trump is a bull in a china shop. People want honesty when it comes to Washington. In turn, Washington hates the honesty in Trump. Since the media today is extremely biased, his twitter is the best way to get his true feelings on a subject.

Nearly every media outlet is against Trump. The good news: people finally see this and are starting to look at facts themselves, rather than a commentary tailored to make you think a certain way. When the people determine conclusions for themselves, they stop being sheep and become human again. The media hates this, they want to control you for their fiscal gains. Just for fun, take a look at the Snapchat’s “Discover” page. You will not see a single pro-Trump post.

So why hasn’t anything taken down President Trump? The people finally have strength again, and are starting to have trust in Washington. In this country, the people come first. Say all you want about “not winning the popular vote”, Trump knew how to play the game to get his foot in the White House. He is doing what he said he would do, shrink the federal government, cut taxes, secure the borders, boost the economy, and keep Americans safe. If the media and certain political figures continue to say things like “people will die”, call legislation “armageddon” and attack the people who support our president; Trump will easily see another term in 2020.

Heck, with how unpredictable Trump has been, maybe he will run as a Democrat next time around.
