8-Year-Old In Hospital Following Motorcycle Crash
Charles Wallshein, 8, lost control of his motocross motorcycle and was struck by another motorcyclist Thursday afternoon, according to police.
A motorcycle struck Charles Wallshein, 8, after he lost control of his own Thursday afternoon while riding at Club MX, a private club in Ronkonkoma, according to police.
According to police, Wallshein sustained a head trauma after losing control and falling off of his 2009 Honda CRF50F motocross motorcycle and was then struck by another motorcyclist Skyler Primack, 11, of Briarcliff Manor, at 4:30 p.m.
Police said both Wallshein and Primack were wearing helmets at the time of the crash.

Wallshein was airlifted by helicopter to Stony Brook University Medical Center and is listed in serious condition.
Primack was not injured in the accident.
